PossibleNOW And CompliancePoint Experts To Speak At American Teleservices Association Annual ConventionDULUTH, GA – April 4, 2012 – Subject matter experts from PossibleNOW, the leading provider of marketing compliance and preference management solutions, and its sister company, CompliancePoint, the leader in marketing compliance consulting and audit services, will be featured speakers during the American Teleservices Association (ATA) Annual Convention. This year’s convention, to be held at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Florida, includes CompliancePoint’s Ken Sponsler, Vice President and General Manager, who will speak about embracing multi-channel permission marketing, and PossibleNOW’s John Housley, who will present a panel discussion about understanding your customers’ choice.

The theme of this year’s ATA convention is “Managing Customer Experience In A Digital World.” For nearly 30 years, the ATA, a non-profit trade organization, has been dedicated to excellence in the customer experience, initially starting with contact centers, and evolving with emerging technologies and new avenues of customer contact. The convention promotes applied ideas of customer management, how industry leaders have succeeded and how they have avoided risks to both company safety and banked revenue.

Sponsler, who holds the prestigious Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) designation, will present “Why You Must Embrace Multi-Channel Permission Marketing Now!” This session will present strong evidence about how US and international marketing and privacy regulations, social media influences, new technologies, and the decline of the landline, are forcing companies to consider alternatives to traditional marketing efforts. The session will show a unique view of how these influences are colliding and causing significant shifts in consumer expectations.

Housley, who has more than 15 years of experience in contact center operations and managing marketing compliance, will host a panel discussion titled “Understanding Your Customers’ Choice – Smart-ER Marketing.” Along with fellow panelists, Darlene Geller-Stoff, Principal at Direct Communication Specialists LLC and Jasen Shirley, Senior Manager of Contact Management & Sales at Cross Country Home Services, the session will explore the various trends and techniques related to better understanding customers and their choices for communications while maintaining legal compliance and permissible marketing.
